1. Boxer Vijender Singh
Vijendra became interested in the glamour industry after a successful career in boxing and took some time off from his duty. He made his industry debut with the Bollywood comedy-drama social thriller film Fugly, which flopped at the box office, pushing him to return to the ring.
2. Singer Shaan
This Indian playback singer has undoubtedly been the industry’s “Shaan”, owing to his captivating voice, which has been a blessing to the Bollywood industry. Shann became a fan favourite among audiences after performing famous songs such as Chand Sifarish, Jab Se Tere Naina, Kuch To Hua Hai, Musu Musu, and others. Apart from his successful career as a singer, Shaan was also known for appearing in films like Zameen, Loins of Punjab Presents, and Balwinder Singh Famous Ho Gaya. None of them, however, were able to help the singer achieve popularity.

3. Cricketer Sandeep Patil
Sandeep became interested in the Bollywood industry after six years with the cricket squad, from 1980 to 1986, and soon after winning the 1983 Cricket World Cup, he abandoned his match tour to be a part of the film Kabhie Ajnabi The. This film was not only the cricketer’s first but also his final appearance in the industry. The reason for this was due to the film’s disastrous business at the box office.
4. Music composer/Singer Himesh Reshammiya
Fans always adored Himesh for his distinctive lyrics and vocal style. But things went wrong. He quickly lost popularity when he entered the Bollywood industry. Himesh began his acting career after a long music career, appearing in films such as Karzzz, Aap Kaa Surroor, and Xpose. Himesh was unable to sustain himself as an actor in an industry following the economic failure of these films.

5. Singer/Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh
Honey Singh was one of the best and most well-known rappers of his time, and there was a moment when he dominated the music industry. His songs are always a permanent requirement at every party or occasion. However, he gained an interest in the acting profession and featured opposite Himesh in the film Xpose. In addition to this, he has also appeared in various Punjabi films.
6. Tennis Player Leander Paes
Leander is a professional tennis player who has received several acknowledged titles and honours in Tennis. He is one of the best doubles players in the world. Leander sought to break into the Bollywood industry after being a champion in his profession. That’s why in 2013, he starred in the socio-political thriller film Rajdhani Express, which was a massive flop at the box office. Luckily, few people were aware of his involvement in this film, and he quietly returned to his profession without making any headlines.

7. Music composer/Singer Mika Singh
Mika Singh is a well-known singer and composer who has made audiences dance to his songs in films such as Ibn-e-Batuta, Mauja Hi Mauja, Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag, and others. Mika attempted to enhance his profession and take it to the next level after achieving success in the industry by pursuing a career in acting. He appeared in films such as Balwinder Singh… Famous Ho Gaya, Mitti, The Film Love.com, and others. However, his acting in those films proved that he was only good as a singer. That’s why he was unable to establish a solid career in the industry as an actor.
8. Singer Sonu Nigam
It appears that many singers have dabbled in Bollywood. Sonu Nigam was one of those musicians who dabbled in acting by appearing in movies.
