The action film franchise Commando, starring Vidyut Jammwal and Adah Sharma, has been expanded by director and producer Vipul Shah into an OTT series for Disney+ Hotstar titled Commando. While The Kerala Story actress would reprise her part from the three films, the leading role of Commando Virat in the next web series will be played by Prem Parrijaa, a debutant.
A mix of punches and risky feats are included in the teaser for the Commando series, which was released by the series' creators on Monday, July 24. The 46-second teaser begins with the main character riding a dirt bike through a stunning scene of snow-covered mountains and onto the screen. The teaser then transitions into a full-fledged action tale where Adah is seen expertly executing the action scenes.
Fans are disappointed because Vidyut Jammwal is not a part of the series.

The series is advertised as telling the story of the titular character's journey as well as tales of bravery, patriotism, and high-octane action. Amit Sial, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Mukesh Chhabra, Ishteyak Khan, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Shreya Singh Chaudhry, and Amit Tatwawadi also appear.
In 2013, Vidyut Jammwal played the title character in the film "Commando: A One Man Army," which launched the "Commando" franchise. The series has gained popularity among fans of the action genre over time.
