Alia had earlier shared pictures from the fashion show on her own Instagram, where she talked about how inspiring the event was. Her mother, Soni Razdan, and friend Ananya Panday also commented on the pictures, praising Alia's beauty and confidence.

This latest show of support from Karan comes shortly after he talked about feeling like a father to Alia. He remembered the day he chose her for the lead role in Student Of The Year. He said that when he told Alia she got the part, she was very emotional and asked if she could eat the cupcake he had given her. That moment made him feel very protective of her.
Alia Bhatt is currently busy promoting her upcoming movie, Jigra, which will be released on October 11th. This movie is produced by both Karan Johar and Alia, and also stars Vedang Raina.
